Hazelnut Milk

This is my basic nut milk technique, yet you can use either other nuts such as hazelnuts or almonds as well. Thorough soaking is necessary to release the anti-nutrients found in the skin of nuts, that prevent proper digestion and absorption of nutrients. Phytic acid binds minerals preventing them from being properly absorbed however by proper preparation and a little extra time you can 'activate' nuts and seeds reducing phytic acid and increasing nutrient availability.
